Isabel Cooper is an artist, dancer, and multi-dimensional creator originally from St. Louis, Missouri. She started her career performing on a baby hip-hop crew, then graduated into the dance competition world, training with a well-rounded studio. In order to continue making her passion for dance her life's work, she moved to Los Angeles to earn her BFA in Commercial Dance at Hussian College Los Angeles/In Studio. As a graduating senior, she is now skilled in multiple genres of dance beyond hip-hop, including but not limited to tap, modern, jazz funk, African, and Bollywood. She is an actor and filmmaker, creating work that defies category. Already working professionally, she has performed with several Los Angeles based hip-hop companies including KreativMndz Dance Academy, Motus; The Company, and Troupe Dance Company. Isabel was an original producer, choreographer and performer for the 2022 production of Femme Fatale at The El Portal Theater in North, Hollywood. She is excited to be launching this exciting company as her college experience comes to a close.
Hannah Gravelle was born in Ontario, Canada. She is currently a senior commercial dance major at Hussian College Los Angeles In Studio, on the cusp of a professional dance career. The act of moving to another country, living in the land of opportunity wholly altered her view on life. She discovered that she is a versatile creative who showcases her authentic self through the arts, as both a creator and performer in dance, theater, and film. Dance has been her entire life since the young age of three; she grew up as a competitive studio dancer, toured with the legendary performance company called Tremaine Dance Conventions for 7 years, and culminated her training by attending a performing arts school in downtown Los Angeles. While there, she was accepted into a selective mentorship program called IAF (I Am Force). She is both a co-creator and producer of Les Femmes. As her remarkable journey continues, she heads towards graduation and her dream life as a multi-hyphenate creative force. Hannah Gravelle will continue to create a world where powerful women are recognized, and artists are celebrated.
McKinsey Shea is a dancer and creative from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where she trained for stage performance in ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, and musical theater starting at age five. She moved to Los Angeles at 18 years old to study and train at Hussian College Los Angeles/ In Studio. While still a student, she has gained real world experience in a diverse array of gigs. She has been in a Superbowl commercial, an independent film, and several original concept videos. Studying commercial dance has broadened her creative horizons and illuminated all of the possibilities that the industry holds. After a big success with Femme Fatale as a dancer in April 2022, she is now co-creating, choreographing, and producing the rebranded show and company Les Femmes alongside three other amazing artists. McKinsey will receive her BFA in Commercial Dance from HCLA in May of 2023, and this studio-dancer-turned-commercial-dancer is eager to dive deeper into this industry. McKinsey Shea aims to create art that reflects the human spirit, while inspiring others to strive for greatness in their authenticity.
Kelly Welsh is a versatile artist who grew up in New Jersey just a short distance from the industry influences of New York City. As a young dancer, Kelly studied ballet, jazz, contemporary, theatre dance, tap, hip hop, heels and modern. Kelly never veered from her passion and followed her dreams all the way to California. She is completing her BFA in Commercial Dance at Hussian College in Los Angeles, graduating in the spring of 2023. During her time at HCLA/In Studio, she has worked as a producer, choreographer and performer. A standout is the #WeAreFest smash hit, Insomniac Terrors. Kelly recently made her professional debut in Noah Guy's new music video, 2 Dogs 1 Leash, dancing a solo ballerina role. Kelly looks forward to a bright future sharing her creative passion with the industry.
